lets say you put a supercharger on your s2k along with a complete exhaust (headers and all), and intake...you think it could run with the sequential Rx-7 and or turbo supra? or do you think turbo s2k along with the exhaust and intake would run better? or would both be a really nice add on

I would say given the S2000's lighter body, it would stand a pretty good chance. Does anyone know any times for a turbo charged S2000?

ChrisD from Florida has the Speedcraft turbo kit...

Search for ChrisD, Speedcraft, etc...he has an awesome FI setup.

A S/C S2K I'm sure would beat a stock RX7 (running properly) but not by a whole lot. I remember seeing S/C stooks running low-mid 13s which would be about the same as an RX7 with exhaust and intake. Stock RX7s typically run 13.5-14.0 although a few have gotten into the low 13s.

Im not so sure about that. ( an S2000 beating an RX7)

I think a stock RX7 would roll an S2000 on the street.

I'm in Louisville Kentucky, and have 4 third gen RX7's in various states of modifcation if anyone wants to try.

I raced an S2000 with my 93 3rd gen rx7 when it was stock.. well an exhaust and an intake.. and from about 60 to 140 he was about 1 car length ahead. If your wondering how so? I had a bad motor with a cracked apex seal which scraped the hell out of the sideplate which i pretty much had no compression on 1 of the rotors. I was soo pissed, the very next day I took it to the shop to have the motor rebuilt.. this time with 3MM seals, street port, downpipe, midpipe, ecu upgrade, bigger fuel pump, front mount intercooler, greddy bov.. and an act 6 puck springless clutch with the heavy duty pressure plate... wow that clutch is a pain in the ass.. what a mistake that clutch was.. i need to take it out before my car literally falls appart. Well time to benchmark again..... I need to find somebody in the miami, florida area who would like to run.. I have an S but its kind of hard to race myself.. and I sure as hell am not gonna let somebody race my car, especially against me!

It's pretty easy to soup an Rx-7 up to 400bhp.. There is a few with over 600hp at the wheels that run high 9s.
