hehe, this is you guys....

hehe, lots of flames. its fun to debate, and argue, but when it begins belittling, thats when its gone too far. ive done it, and felt like an ass. so calm down, to each his own. domestic, import whatever. fast is fast, and should be respected as such.
and NA power, my car isnt stock, for the 15th time. K pumpkin. id own you. buhbye now
I am judging by your rwhp numbers that you posted in your sig. Are those no-longer valid?

that you would give me that much credit breaks my heart... LOL
nice, blame me. hehe

i do have a taste for the theatrical, and anyone who knows me will tell you this. but i dont enjoy causing people to put each other down. i simply was put off by the fact that anytime anyone with an s2000 claims to have beat..ANYTHING... the trolls are here to say how slow s2k's are. and whatever POS, THEY have is the fastest thing on the planet. its the norm these days.
look at pakisho, tiny weiner syndrome. 8 trillion whp blown, built, sprayed, Z06 and comes here to talk smack. i mean,, cmon. get a clue.
and NA power, think, if your so fast, then why brag. since everyone here knows already that all LS1's are the fastest cars on earth, then why argue it...
THIS IS STREET ENCOUNTERS. stories to entertain. about the guy that you raced,, that lost. not, "well, in the real world"....read NERDLAND.. "the numbers just dont add up, this car should run this", and BLAH BLAH BLAH. i dont care. anything can happen on a traction limited street. so get over it, read the story and enjoy it. laugh at the guy who got beat and thats it.
night

[QUOTE=N/Apower,Jan 31 2007, 11:56 PM] Oddly I have never "bragged" about having an LS1 car and even have gone so far as to say its slow. You guys are the ones building my car up to "godlike" status. Every time someone addresses my vehicle they seem to act like I have been talking it up or something. No, not really. It is a stock WS6 6-speed. I leave it there.

You are telling me that 14whp over stock makes you one of the highest NA hp S2K? Because thats what your sig states IIRC, 224whp. I know S2K's are hard to get a LOT of hp out of NA, but they arent THAT contrary.

dude, most s2k's on a dynojet..put down sub 200's some will see 205-208. rarely will they just roll onto the dyno and bust 225. ask version, he has a bunch of stuff and pulled a better # than i did, on a mustang, which purportedly read lower. a friend of mine just purchased a new dynojet, and another bud picked up a new mustang dyno. after seeing some #s from some front drivers, and talking with him, he said its all in the setup. he said i should be able to turn near the same # on his mustang as i did on the ancient dynojet i rolled on. either way, when i popped out that 224. whatever, the guy running the dyno came unglued, said thats the highest s2k ever on this dyno. EVERY other one for the past 4 years, had turned sub 200's. ive cleared that # since, on the same dyno, but im not posting another sheet till i clear 230. whats the point? up 2 whp...ooohh aaahhhhh, up 4 whp ooohhh. blah. it will be nice. but im not gonna do backflips.
my goal is to clear 230, with stock ecu, and stock mufflers. and it WILL happen. just wait and see.

anyways, im glad this huge flame has calmed. its as it should be. chill. and you guys can bash all you want. i wont be here to answer for 3 days. hehe. lates

Ever the retard, dave.

I am on here (and longer than you have been, by the way, ouch) because I used to own an S2000 and still kick the idea of buying another one around. I dont talk smack to anyone on here, I usually just make fun of you.

So what you are telling me is your friend said that he thinks your car would dyno the same on a mustang dyno as you did on a dynojet but that you both dont know because you never tried it and so what you do now is use all of this bullshit hear-say to claim that you have something special?

The guy was probably used to AP1's dynoing.

PLENTY of AP2's lay down 210-220 whp on a dynojet.

Who are your friends who "just picked up" a piece of hardware costing as much as a new car? Who are your friends who have the machinery/time/money to dig a huge pit to put this mustang dyno in?

Basically you have told me you have a 224whp S2000, AS MEASURED on a dyno-jet, and that one of your buddies thinks it would make 22X on a mustang dyno, and so that makes it fast.

Does anyone else see a problem with this shit?

EDIT:

I just re-read your post. You now say you have gained another 4whp? Maybe he just tightened the straps down and it was on a cooler day. Seriously, do you go and dyno it every day hoping to hit 230whp?

What mods do you have? Stock mufflers/ect. lead me to think you have a stock S2K and you pulled a few freak numbers out of it by manipulating variables on the dyno.
