A: state why your Merc is "better".
B: realise that an S2K costs approx 50% of the cost of a convertible Merc.
C: Understand that the two cars are aimed at completely different markets.
D: Get over the fact that you don't really own a Merc, its actually you daddies.
So , taking all of the above into account, please resolve your issues and consider yourself un-worthy of posting in the s2k forums until you are able to contribute to some kind of interesting and thoughtfull interject <- that prompts further discussion.
Oh - BTW, I agree that the Merc has qualities that the s2k will never have, but it works both ways..

Just as we often resent someone in a lesser car agggressively trying to start a race they'll inevitably lose, we shouldn't take offense at those in other cars (whether or not they cost a lot more) who don't care to take up a challenge or don't want to be buzzed by an aggressive fellow driver. Jesus...this thread is still breather? KILL it already.
If i'm old, my legs are numb, can't drive stick, i'll drive a Merce.
If i'm handicap, I'll buy a Merce.
Until then, i'm sticking with 6-speed, .9G or above.
