I've owned both a 98 NSX and a 02 M3. Both cars are about equal, but the much lighter NSX will be on top when it comes to the track. It is still considered a super car today by many European car magazines and for Honda to keep manufacturing a car they only sell about 500 a year of is pretty nice. The NSX is a trouble free car. The M3 had nothing but problems, engine recall, SMG got stuck in 2nd gear and several other frustrating issues I don't want to get into. If I had to make a choice between those two cars I would definitely take the NSX. Also, NSX drivers are way more friendly than the E46 M3 ones.

I sold my 91' NSX last September and can assure you after driving an 01' S2000 that it is no match for an NSX, From a standstill, from a roll, NO WAY !!

The numbers don't back you up here. While the NSX is trapping higher -- which is a good indication as to who would win from an on-speed roll, the reality is that both are high 13 second cars.

Whether a 13 year old NSX is running as quickly as it did when new is a toss up ...

Oh boy, those NSX's over at that site look so nice.

Shut up, Blacknight, you're the same stupid kid from OK, BadM3 or something like that. The only vehicle you have is a farm tractor. My skateboard can beat your tractor. Isn't it awful living in OK?

s2000 would get owned. Period. The NSX is Honda's flagship, and would no way let one of their lesser expensive models that cost 1/3 the price let it compete with it in stock form.

Talking in regards to a new NSX. Just to clarify as the old NSXs did have less hp and a 5 speed.

Some people on this board are clueless. I have been hopping up Honda's and Acura's since 1989......back when DC sports was called DC fabrication and when AEM was just a parts dealer / tuning shop instead of a leading manufacturer. I have driven a 99 NSX and when compared to my S/C 04 S2k the NSX will edge it out. Why would Honda produce a faster 90K car than the cheaper 33K sports car...............DUH !!!!!!! I drove a ZO6 a month ago and then my freind's Comptech S/C 00 NSX..........no contest ..........the NSX would eat that ZO6 alive. If I raced the ZO6 it would hand my ASS back to me in my Comptech S/C S2K.

A comptech NSX would beat a Z06? What are the specs on a comptech blown NSX? Not flaming, just curious.

My friends comptech supercharged, test pipe/exhaust/header equiped s2k couldnt hang with a bone stock 02/03 NSX.
