S2000 vs Lancer Evo

[B]my boyfriend knows cars. I think he was just trying to make me feel more confident ever since my accident. Even though the accident in my del Sol wasn't my fault, it really left me shaky and feeling like I couldn't drive the way I used to. My boyfriend was just trying to convince me that I am still as good a driver as I was before the accident.

LOL xpander4 you have such a way of twisting stuff around!
No, he was just trying to help me regain my confidence because he knows I have the ability to drive the way I did.
By the way, it really did help me. Of course, I'm still cautious of other drivers but I'm pretty much back to my old self in terms of driving. These past few days I haven't been nervous at all! I'm quite happy about it.

He put himself at a disadvantage, AFTER he instigates, and realizing he is at a disadvantage, STILL attempts to "race". In this case, the "race" goes to the S2000 driver. In other words, she won this one.
Simple.
Even some of the board members over there recognize this.

No hard feelings to that guy, though. I know that if he had followed through from the beginning, instead of letting of and then trying to gain lost ground, he would have had me beat. I'm not a sore winner or loser and judging from the way he writes, neither is he.
yes, yes I do have a way with that
but I know too many people that have lost their lives in car accidents(racing or not), if anything were to ever happen to my baby like that, I wouldn't be able to live with myself for even one second of time....and I guess that's what I think about whenever she's getting in the car and I remind her to "drive smart" with her head, not with her foot
I guess everybody's different

Very true! It's awesome that you remind you girl to be safe everytime she drives. My boyfriend is the same way, but he knows how much I can push a car and still be in control. Believe me, if I wasn't ready for it I wouldn't have attempted it!
Like I said before, I like to just drive my normal speed, which just happens to be faster than everyone else. Interestingly enough, I was being good and driving the speed limit when that truck pulled the hit and run on me in my del Sol.
