Coming home from the store tonight, stopped at a light, a nice new black HEMI powered ram pulled up next to me. He looked like he was itching for a race, and since all this talk about how fast the stupid hemi is, I decided to see if he wanted a go. So the light turns green and we both pull out a little quicker than most, but not racing yet. I hear him stomp it so I followed suit. I quickly pulled about a half car but he slowly started to catch up. He ended up walking me by 60 mph and had a truck on me by then and was pulling. Damn tires...I should have stayed stock. It was my first loss in the cherokee and I was disappointed. I guess I'll have to mod the jeep a little bit before I go picking fights with Hemi's again.

Because I can usually beat up on unsuspecting ricers with it. And I drive it 90% of the time.

Hmmm, I actually beat a HEMI Ram once in my wifes Jeep. Hers is a Wrangler though, with Intake, full exhaust, and 3.73's... The Ram was a 2500... I had him to about 55mph by about a truck and a half, at which point we both stopped racing because we were in friggin trucks...

 

I raced a soccer mom in her van in my company van. We were both laughing.

 

Speaking of stupid races: I raced a grand am that had like 7 people inside. I beat him/them by several football fields. I'm so cool
