I've raced two VR-4s and both of them I definitely was not pulling on them.

You must've come across a slowass one. They're faster than us, stock.

Not to start any flames here, because my Cousin has one. But a VR-4 pulling on a stock let alone a modded S2K is not really that fast. A guy around here has a Single turbo Supra pushing 698@ wheels. That is the kind of japanese monsters I am talking about. I haven't seen a VR-4 like that, but I have seen 300 ZX's, Supra's, RX-7's etc.

Don't get me wrong, I love the VR-4.....

I'm not sure if you're right about the VR-4 there pappy....the motor gives you a stock 320hp and a turbo to work with. It can be modded up towards the 900- 1000hp range as i've seen a couple on certain DSM forums and what not, many DSM cars run 10's easy including the gen1 eclipses and talons. The dsm motors are real easy to mod. For some reason I can't see a stock s2k straight up passing a VR4 from behind that's gunning it, but on the highway I guess anything happens...way to represent the s2k good kill.

The 4G63 Motor (All eclipses) is a totally different car and motor than the 3000 GT. The Eclipse motor is in my opinion one of the most powerful 4 Cylinder motors out there. But the 3000 GT motor is not that great. There have been alot of valve problems with the car, and also the fact that the V6 is not that fantastic.

For those of you who don't think a stock S2000 can run on a stock Vr-4 go on the highway and try it. It makes a lot of snese on why, the Vr-4 weighs almost 4000lbs. and has a 6sp with 3 of those gears being overdriven. Thats the key the tranny really kills the highway performance of that car. I don't think it can run much faster than 155mph. As for racing from a stop if the Vr-4 launches hard it would be a different story it would definatley pull off the line and take the S2000 a little while to make it up. I going to find out soon I hope.

As for shizon'00 I hadn't checked my PM for a while and didn't know what he was talking about, but now I do and i wouldn't mind meeting up with him sometime.
