I guess you don't like women then do you? I mean, I see beautiful women everyday and they still turn my head. Logic is lacking....

I see usually 2 or 3 S2000's a day now that the weather is starting to shine a bit. I probably see 3 or 4 corvettes, maybe more. But guess what, I turn my head at all of them. Even other cars like supras and vipers and f-bodies just to try to hear the sound. Guess not everyone can appreciate beauty. If you like a car, you'll turn your head, it's that easy. And being the US sports car icon has it's following. Sorry you don't understand.

I could give you a million different stories, but it's no use arguing with someone's who's premise is misaligned. I have nothing to prove.

WS6 for wins drag

S2000 wins track

WS6 can't handle for shit. I have drivin them and seen them slide all over the place (dumb solid rear axel)

The build quality is far better in the S2000 IMO.

My vote goes to the S2000 although I like both of the cars.

man this forum is so fast. I post all over the place, usually in LS1.com and in firebirdv6.com since I own a 1996 firebird.
The plan is to sell my car and then buy a new one. My dad wants a WS6 or a S2000, I like both cars the same, each one has its good things and its bad things. Over here in my area we dont' see S2000's much, I've only seen 3 around here. The reason why I liked the S2000 was the gas mileage ( u know 4 cylinder engine cheaper on me) , the look, the power on the Vtec engine, and because most of my racing friends like Hondas, especiallly the S2000. '
I wanted the WS6 because there is very few around here, we see mostly camaros and regular TA.'s . The power, the mean look, and the space and sound on it. I just hate the fact that its a v8 and its so much money on Gas. Thanks for all the posts, I will tell u guys which car I get, hopefully I will get in a month or so. any other opinions?? thanks

if it's as good as you say it is, why would you need an experienced racer?

Dude just buy the car you like the best. Test drive them both,if the dealer won't let you, find another dealer. If he wants to sell the car,he'll let you drive it. The Pontiac is faster. Period. The car does everything faster. It's also bigger, uses more gas despite what anyone says about 1-4 skip shift bullshit, and has some build quality issues. Looks are totally subjective thus the reason everyone on earth doesn't drive the same damn car. MY opinion,my personal opinion, not to sway yours in anyway, would be to buy the T/A. It can be made faster cheaper, easier and WS6 models handle their asses off in spite of what anyone here thinks. Probably not as good as a S2K but the factory WS6 suspension is relatively tame so it wouldn't take much to make it handle great. Pick one and be happy. I went and looked at a yellow 01 S2000 today but I was just looking. On the other hand,I'm gona have a 98+ T/A or Z28 within the next year as my race car if I can find a halfway decent deal. It's up to you to shell out 30 large but if you get the trans am,get a 01 or 02. They're faster.

Gas mileage on LS1's is actually very very good. Probably better than a F20c. I think we've had this conversation before. It really just depends on your driving habits. I bet they are pretty close in the city, but I get 31-33mpg on the highway at speed. I would expect close to the same since it has a more efficient drivetrain than my auto C5 with IRS but more weight and drag.
