Skip what I said. I was talking about with vettes. I've seen f-bods get really good mpg on the freeway.

they have the same motor....why would the f-body do better?

As said before on my trip to Florida, I averaged high 30's at 50mph (following my buddy and his trailer) and low 30's at 65-70mph. On the way home our trip was a little more spirited as it was a 2000 mile sprint. Pretty fun with the right cars.

Oh, and mine is the 3.15 A4. I would expect the M6's to do a little better than mine.

Shizon and Glen how many corvettes are manufactured and sold in the US on an annual basis? Just curious. Our local Honda dealer told me that there are only 5,000 s2000's sold yearly in the continental US. How many corvettes have been manufactured and sold here since 1980? Does anyone not know what a corvette is? My grandma can pick a vette out of the crowd. Your cars are fast, are a great bargain for the money, but face it THEY ARE COMMON. I rarely give one a second glance. Does anyone else on this board? As a matter of fact why are you here in the first place? There must be tens of thousands of vette owners like yourselves that you could chat with. Bring your Vette on up here to KY and I will run you on our local autox circuit. It was just two weeks ago when I smoked an 01 c5 by two seconds and guess what? He was gridded two cars from me and I had the crowd around my car. Why did they need to stop and look at his? Maybe if he had some big flames painted on his hood he would have garnered some attention. Do you have flames on your car? Just what makes yours so distinctive? Just curious.

I believe somewhere around 30K vettes are made per year. I never said there are fewer s2000's than vettes. How could that be true since they've been making them since 1953?

But in comparison to cars like civics, cavaliers, mustangs, f-bodies, explorers, they are hardly common. See commonality is relative...Capeche?

Also, I'm here for two reasons. One is because I'm an actual car enthusiast and like cars. I happen to drive a corvette. I like the performance, power, and styling of my car.

The other reason is to educate poor blind people like you on cars that you seem to think are inferior or common in some way.

And the autox thing. I hope you understand that was driver. Do you really think you're superior to a C5 in any performance category? I sure hope not... You sound like a previous Civic Si owner that got a taste of a little performance and now you think you own the fastest car alive.

Unless again...you're only reason for saying that your car is "better" is because it's not "common". And what makes my car distinctive? It's a vette...care to match "honda" heritage with a car that has lasted 50 years as an icon? How many common cars can even touch that? How many exotic cars can touch that? Definetly not anything that Honda has made. Doesn't make their cars any less than what they are though.

Common relative to an s2000. Does that clear it up for you?

I do not need to come and see your car. I'll be heading home here in a minute and I am quite sure I will see several before I get there. You know what? I bet some of them will have aftermarket exhaust, maybe even headers. Flames, now thats worth traveling for.
