Default 00-04 radio door conversion

I just picked up a 04 radio door from HARDTOPGUY.com to convert it from my 00 one. I know it sounds dumb I just cant get the old door off. I looked on google
and cant find any directions on how to get it off and to install it again. It didnt come with any instructions either, I thought this was going to piece of cake maybe someone out on the forum can point me in the right direction.

dont look on google, there's a search function on this website

open the radio door, park the car, push it back in reverse. pull the door out, use someting like a flat head to get the vent parts out, once it's all out, use like a REALLY REALLY small phillip/small nail to push that little metal things that hold the springs..

Make sure you take your time to wiggle the whole assemply out of the dash so as not to damage, or nik the edges.
I ended up using the end of a metal coat hanger to push the pins out. It was a perfect fit.

Oh, I found that my pre '04 door spring was a bit on the week side and wouldn't open the new door so I splurged $2 bucks and bought a '05 spring which was larger and stronger than my '02 spring was. The spring has a short side and a long side so remember which end goes in which direction, but if you pay close enough attention it doesn't look right or feel right when the spring is inserted backwards.

oh yeah, remember how the springs look before taking it apart, IT IS VERY VERY sensitive, not putting it back like how it was can cause the door not to drop down like normal(usually really slow), or you'll have to pull it down by hand after the initial push.

Don't push the pins all the way out, just far enough to remove the door.
If there not removed all the way you can't drop one and possibly lose it.
Look, study and take your time use masking tape anywhere that you think you could leave a mark.
As stated above study that spring for replacement on your 04 door.

When I did mine, prep = 15 min. replace = 3 min.
