Well it could be a no brainer, but I was thinking do I really need 9k revs and a plastic window or 8k with projectors.
dont get hung up on the 9k bs..if high revs are a big deal to you, get a bike.

also 02s and 03s dont have plastic windows, so that's a moot point since you are looking at a 02.

as i implied earlier, get the newest car you can get out of the deal - no brainer!

Or get the 02 and tell your dad to put what he saved into a 2 year CD for you.

That's what I'm trying to say. I don't want to spend so much money on a first car. I truthfully don't want to use my parents to get a more expensive car, but almost has the same stuff on it.

Or they could pay for your insurance with the money they save too.

Or, you could get a boring Civic.

i'd say get the newer one... traction conrtol will help ur lack of driving . plus it has a little slott for cd's on the passenger side where a normal glove box would go. and yea, its much more bad ass... DBW is pretty nice, just drive both of them and see which one u like better. the 07 being newer will last longer. keep that in mind as it doesnt have as many miles on it...

17yo driver...get the traction control and live to see 18. The s2k is one of the most unforgiving cars if you make a mistake. It is one of the most expensive cars to insure in part because of the number of single car accidents...single car because the driver made a mistake leading to a damaged car.

I agree with the insurance being really high on S2000s.
I'd recommend the '07, because it is less twitchy compared to the earlier raw AP1s.
Plus the '07 still has warranty(not that it's really necessary on a Honda or anything..)
Good luck, man.
You're lucky to have such a nice parents.

Well, the 9k is what makes the s2000 unique, and different from other cars. The fact that the s2000 is one of the only two production cars that are somewhat affordable with a 9k redline is worth mentioning.

Also, it's a s2000 not a s2200.

Ap1!!!!!!

Anyways, if you don't care for the 9k then get the 07 of courseee.

Please tell me you really don't think that the ONLY thing that makes the S2000 unique is a 9k rpm redline.

There are MANY other things.
