Please tell me you really don't think that the ONLY thing that makes the S2000 unique is a 9k rpm redline.

There are MANY other things.
I was going to ask and say exactly the same thing, but you beat me to it.

Anyone who thinks that it's just the 9k redline that makes the S2000 such a unique driving experience is missing the vast majority of what the car has to offer.

No, but why miss out on one of them?

I'm not gonna turn this into an AP1 vs. AP2 thread.

I have an AP1 and prefer the AP1, but if you like, I can give you a list of reasons one could be far better off going for an AP2. I dare say that if you don't realize that the AP1 is not for everyone, then you don't fully appreciate the car.

The fact that the s2000 is one of the only two production cars that are somewhat affordable with a 9k redline is worth mentioning.
what is the other car? RX-7??

personally I prefer my Ap1 over an Ap2.. it's loud and untamed, and I wouldn't want it any other way

You're right, and I agree. It's just that I could care less about the little torque increase and more refined suspension. I'd look into a g35 or something if that was my concern.

whoah bro, getting just a little harsh there. there are a lot of disciplined and responsible teenagers out there. If him and his dad are looking for a car (whether it's an S or a corolla) then maybe his dad trusts his son enough to drive. don't ridicule all teenagers. show some love don't be hatin. kid came here to ask not be berrated and called "DUMB".
