I just placed my order for exactly this:

- Redline MT-90 for the tranny (2quarts)

- R.L.75W90 gear oil for the diff (1 quart)

I do not know when my fluids were last changed, so hopefully this smooths things out, even though I dont feel anything wrong with my tranny/diff

Cant do any harm so why not

Ill let you know how they feel in 2 weeks

I personally used:

OEM Honda oil filter
Mobil 1 5W-30
OEM Honda MTF
LE607 for the diff.

Paul, you should stick with 10 weight multigrade rather than 5... 5 is a little thin; at least according to Honda.

Stylin', sounds like you're on track. I agree with the others about the Honda PCX filter (make sure your dealer gives you the right filter). I've used the high-end Fram X2 filter as well, but I'd stick with the Honda part. And, yeah, synthetic Mobil 1 is fine.

If you want more information than you care to see about the different lubrication possibilities, please see the "oil journals" thread in the under the hood forum. I think I referenced that in the Introductions forum FAQ.

I bought a 02' s2 with 22,349 miles on it. I now have 30k miles but I've changed all my fluids ASAP. I'm so glad I did. With the execption of the oil everything was low.

I changed my fluids to:
Engine: Mobil1 10-30
Tranny: MT-90
Diff: LE-607
Brakes: ATE Super
Clutch:ATE Super

After making these changes the car felt great.

I plan to flush out the radiator and replace with OEM fluid.

Thanks for all the help guys. I picked up some more Mobil 1 10w-30. Sucks that the S2K takes 5.1qts. I always get the 5 qt jugs for 23 bucks but with the S I need a tad more. So I had to get the 5 qt jug and a 1 qt. jug for 6 bucks lol ah well.

I also got the Mobil 1 75w-90 Diff Lube.....Was going to use the LE607 but here in Louisville, Ky we sometimes have some cold ass winters.

I still can not decide on the tranny fluid I want to use. At times my tranny feels a bit stiff, hard to get into 1st and reverse at times. The car has 22,500 miles and has most likly never had the MTF and Diff Fluid changed. I hope this will smooth things out.
