only real thing the S is missing is the prestige. imagine if people noticed it and respected it like it cost 5 times as much. im just babbling.

Mildly regret not waiting for 06... but that might change once I see one in person.

I have test driven pretty much every car under the sun and I still do not regret buying my '05. Of course I get a little envious everytime I see an Elise, but that car just couldn't meet my needs (and it would cost close to $50k out the door). The Z06 was one of the cars I drove before I got my 2nd s2k, and I just didn't think it was as fun as my little Honda

I drove: Z06, E46 M3, every AMG mercedes, Lotus Elise, Maserati Spyder, STi, EVO, 350Z, G35c, etc, etc. and while the s2000 was the slowest of the bunch, I still think it is the most fun!

No regrets here. Apples and Oranges.

My wife, who hates cars, and my love of them, said it best when refering to the S2000.

"Put a Porsche badge on that car and raise the price and everybody would want one."

I do have regrets. While I have enjoyed the Honda S2K, I almost bought a new Boxter S instead. Wish I would have bought the Porsche. The Honda is a high strung car, the Porsche is more my style. Of course, I saved a bundle with the Honda, so its not all bad...
