I should clarify, not everyone knows this car is dangerous in wet conditions.
ANY car can be dangerous in wet conditions...

I had wrong sized all-seasons on it before from the previous owner. It's an AP1 so 255's on the rear and 215's on the front with full tread make it a hell of a lot more stable than it was.

But yeah... speeding is bad as it upsetting the balance of the car in any manner when in poor conditions.
165s all around with full tread would be better than what he had.

Unbelieveable. Don't you guys have any compassion. Shit talking about a person who lost his life already. No doubt it was a stupid decision in his part but that doesn't justify he deserved what he got. It's not like he was intentionally trying to hurt people from his actions. IMO, it is very difficult to judge a person due to this one stupid action. You don't know him well enough to be able to put judgement on this poor kid.

Regardless of the stupid fatal decision he took, there are still people that care for him and are saddened of his death. This is where you send your condolences for those people. Everyone makes mistakes in life, unfortunately, he paid the highest price for his mistake. I'm not saying your wrong to state your opinion/thoughts on the whole situation, but have the consideration for the people he left behind. However you look at it, it is a sad day for his loved ones and I'm pretty sure they can use all the support they can get. It doesn't help by stating he deserved what he got. If y

It's a standard trackday aphorism: "Accident" is when a meteor hits your car. "Mistake" is when you screw up.

The connotation with the word "accident" tends to be that there was no way to prevent it, and it "just happened". Grace of God. Inshallah. Etc.

The connotation of the word "mistake" is much more correct.
Very interesting to know that Mike. As I was typing up my post(right above yours) I briefly contemplated what seem to be more of a correct term. My common sense told me "mistake" was more of the correct term than "accident". So i'm glad you cleared that for me.

When we choose an action, we are responsible for the results of that action -- whether or not those are the results that we intended.

I never stated that he was not responsible for the result of the action. My point was just to basically take it easy on this poor kid. He already lost his life for his action. What good does it do to keep bashing for his stupid fatal mistake. What's more important is to have the compassion towards his loved ones by giving them their condolences and support. It doesn't feel good to read terrible things about someone you loved dearly. Just a consideration factor. I'm not disagreeing on anything anyone has said. I just feel this isn't the time to be bashing on him.
