Default 08 NFR Steering Wheel

I recently bought a steering wheel on ebay. The part number provided by the seller is 78501-S2A-A72ZA which is listed as graphite black i. Upon receipt the package, I notice the color of the wheel is dark grey, but I am looking for a black one. to match with the black interior of my red NFR. Did I buy a wrong one and if it is, what should be the correct part #?

I think your interior is just really shiny. That looks like the right color. Mine was like that when it was new.

Yep, that's the right steering wheel. It's just that it's so hardly used that it still has the factory leather matte finish.

New leather looks like that. You seem to have some product on the rest of your dash as well, that makes it shinner than it should be!

I prefer the mat black look of new leather.

Thanks all. Yes, it is the leather conditioner that gives the shiny look. I personally prefer the glossy finish to matte finish. The leather conditioner applied to the new wheel also darkens it and now it matches my interior.

Never thought I find someone who likes the shiny look...to each of their own.
