15 Hours in an S2000=Suicide!
What is comfortable for one is not for someone else. My butt tends to get sore after about 4 or 5 hours. It is important to stretch and get the blood circulating when you make a stop. If you start to get sore, you should immediately stop and get the blood circulating again. If you wait an hour or so, it will take much longer. Moving inside the car helps as well. Another trick that can help is change the temperature inside the car, not really possible with the top down though. If you make it colder, you force you body to create its own heat, if you make it hotter, the body will try too cool itself down. It can help.
In response to Skip Ferrari:
No, I didn't get a temp. tag, the guy I bought the car from just let me use his current tag then mail it back when I got here. But state laws differ but most usually just let you go if you have a bill of sale or something proving you just bought it. The cop was just being a dick.
As for the size issue and the S2000 fitting you, I'm only 5'5" and I love the way I fit perfectly in the seat. But I have pretty big arms and chest since I workout like 6 days a week so I actually start getting a tingling sensation in my arms after a while if they are in the same position on the steering wheel. But this is only for long drives.
I don't car if this car caused a huge boil on my ass, I'd still drive it!

Getting out of the car every couple of hours is good advice. Being in cramped quarters for a long period of time is what ended up killing David Bloom (NBC war correspondent). Same advice goes for long airplane trips.
WELCOME TO THE CLUB! CONGRATS! What color did you geT?

are you serious? that's what killed him? can you describe that a lil more?
On a side note, it's not very common that something like that happens. The news ofcourse blew it way out of porportion like everyone will get a blood clot if they sit in one spot too often. Some people are just prone to getting blood clots like some people are prone to getting cancer. It's all in your genitics. If you haven't had one by now you probably don't have anything to worry about. David Bloom had problems with blood clots in the past.
Damn this thread has gone down many different paths.
Skip Ferrari, I just noticed that you were from Wetumpka. I'm from Daleville, just West of Dothan. Isn't Wetumpka near Montgomery? I have family all over AL. We actually just moved to Dallas from Auburn last year.
I picked mine up from South Carolina, which was 12 hours or so from New York. No problem! I loved being in the car so much cuz I just bought it. Sure my legs went numb, but who cares? I'm driving an S2000 and look damn good doing it!
I bet you miss all the babes in Auburn.
I can easily say that it was hard to pay attention.
