My MY2000 hasn't lost a drop of oil either. I also change my oil every 3000 miles.

I just turned 4500 miles on my Sebring Silver 2002 - purchased end of October. I have used...maybe a 1/2 quart of oil.

10W-30 non-synthetic oil (regular oil) API certified (taken from the owner's manual).

The consensus on this board seems to be that this engine is oil quantity sensitive. Since it redlines at 9000 rpm I agree with that line of thinking. I check the oil at every fuel fill and keep it full even if it's only a 1/4 quart low. Just my .02

Oil should be maintained at or near full.

IMHO, this engine needs to be topped off at all times. I wouldn't wait until you were a full quart low, like you would with any other car. This car means too much to me to take any chances with it's high performance engine. It also depends largely how you drive the car. If you never hit the VTEC range and you never corner hard, you may be OK. I like to drive mine and don't want to take a chance.
