wow... all it took was 3 months

If you even comparing the 2 I will honestly say the Si. I could never DD my S. What do you do when you need to shop at Home Depot, or get a big load of groceries?

Personally, I bought the S2k to play with as my toy, but could never subject it to daily duty.

How old are you? From your signature I get the feeling you are younger, do you have a wife / g/f or parents with a larger car for the time you need it? If so maybe you can swing the S after all.

I'm 19. The S would be my second car. As for my parents, they both have their own cars too. They would probably let me use it if I really need it, but I'd rather just have my own DD. Point is, I want to have an S but I just wanted to see others' opinions on storage space.

If it's your second car and your first car can take luggage and passengers then go for it!

I use mine as a DD.
No problem in doing that at all for me.
I have access to multiple company cars in case I need something big to haul cargos, but other than moving in/out, my S did just fine.
You can stuff in a full golf bag inside the trunk.
Honestly, I don't think you'll have problems with space.
Need space? that's what your GF's car's for.

I daily drove the S2000 for 9 months before buying a Integra hatch for $2600. But in your situation where you care about driving your friends around, and hauling stuff, the Civic Si sounds like a more responsible choice while still being able to have fun. To tell you the truth, the Integra is about 80% as fun as the S2000. I've had the S2000 for 18 months and put about 9,000 miles on it (16,800 total), but I've put about 16,000 miles on the Integra (210,000 total) during the 8 months that I've had it.

Bottom Line, the Civic will be most versatile.

Why is this her business anymore? Ex is an ex. Just get whatever you like the best. SI can't be compared with the s2k.

I DD my S2k and have not had any problems yet, when more then 2 people are going someplace we either take 2 cars or not mine. Of course a sheet of plywood won't fit in the car(at least in one piece) then again in 11 years of driving I've never needed to haul a sheet of plywood. It's not hard to live with as a DD, at least in my life.
