Do you want a civic or a sports car? Who cares what'll fit in the car. If you really need space, get a beater pickup truck. You'll have more space than either of these options.

No doubt about it...the Si is more spacious and "family friendly." That being said, if you don't have a family and can afford the S, why not? You can always get something larger later in life.

You're only young once.

I won't disrespect the Civic SI, because if you need a more friendly daily driver with room, it's a darn good alternative, and a fun car in it's own right. At the rate the S2000 is going with them still making it, which they shouldn't be, it actually has considerably better resale value as well.

If was gonna decide though between two different cars like this, I'd actually take a Mazdaspeed 3 over the Civic SI, because it's considerably faster then the Civic SI, and from a roll will unfortunately beat our S2Ks.

If you're set on a Honda, then I'd go with the S2000, because you only live once, but only you know the answer to that, and you're asking this question on an S2000 forum, which means you want to be talked into it, and you won't see very many objective responses. Good luck!!!

I don't understand the difficulty in this decision, one is a convertible and one is not, how can you compare a mommy car and convertible ? of course they are different.

I got my license in 1974 and I have never owned anything but convertibles and they hardly ever have the top up. You are comparing apples and oranges.

I can understand comparing two convertibles, miata vs. s2000 vs. some other convertible OR Civic vs. Corrola or some other coupe, but a coupe vs. convertible makes no sense, which one do you want and get it.

Lastly remember, life is too short to not drive the car you enjoy driving.

I DD my S and I work as a computer tech. Sometimes I have to take computers home for repair and it's kind of a pain not having a bigger trunk nor having rear seats; but still I'm happy I own the S2K. If I need more space I have access to a Ford Ranger but you'd be amazed with the things you can fit inside the S2000.

Well I just went to the dealer again, and the trunk actually seems relatively big. Although I highly doubt I'll be cramming in the front seat..cuz I usually have one passenger 70% of the time lol
