Accord (and CRV) key can't be programmed for the S2K, and you can't stick an S2K chip in an accord key.
You can stick an S2k chip in an accord key. The only problem is the FCC ID's on the remotes are different. The Accord (FCC ID: OUCG8D-380H-A) uses a 312Mhz frequency. The S2k (FCC ID: E4EG8DJ) uses a 434Mhz frequency.

Doesn't work

To get the new Accord key to work on the S2000, you would probably need to change the brain inside the car. Buy a keyless remote module for an Accord and install it in place of the S2000 module. I'm not saying this will work as I have never tried it, but since both cars have keyless entry, remote trunk release and the immobilizer, it just might be plug and play and there would be no reprogramming or replacing any chips.

So who wants to be the guinea pig?

Here's a silly question-AP1 keys...do they not have the S logo on them? I feel like I'm missing out.

I think the immobilizer and all the other remote codes are stored in the CPU. So i don't think that would do it. But at least people are trying!

I posted this in the Electronics Forum Remote frequency i asked
I know that in remote controlled cars you can change the crystals and that swithes frequencys. Would this work with the keyless entry remotes? Could i solder the crystal from one fob to another?
and one of the EJ's MacGyver replied back
Those systems will typically use a SAW (Surface Acoustic Wave) Resonator, rather than a crystal, but the principle is still the same (may need to tweak the tuning caps)...
So i'm sure with all of the members someone has to know about changing frequencies.
