Advice on 2000 model,please.
john25,
Hmmm...price is not bad.
Ask the owner if he has had any 1st - 2nd grind issues, and if he has had the update.
Take the car for a test drive and drive it around. Test especially the 1st and 2nd shift at redline.

Price sounds reasonable, but do a title check to make sure its been only one owner, AND if there is anyway of finding out if the car has been tracked, that would be good too. Anytime you get higher mileage on such a new car, I would tend to believe that many of those miles are highway miles. That means you really should also check for service history.
I would recommend getting an extended warrant if in fact its coming from a dealership, as IF things fail on this car, it CAN cost a pretty penny. Good luck!
Several members on this board subscribe to carfax and could help you if you find out the VIN# and post a request for help on this board to look up the title history.

$22K for a 2000 model w/41K is probably about right. Obviously a daily driver which is not bad. Make sure you get a carfax report and check for salvage title. I'd advise this with any used car. Also check the service record and have the car inspected very carefully by a mechanic.
