I don't know of any XM reciever that uses the same connector. (I freely admit to not knowing much about XM recievers) I have installed the Honda XM reciever on a Pilot (which is FM modulated) The accessory reciever is identical to an off the shelf Alpine unit. I'm not sure if Honda stuck with Alpine for the S. Most Honda audio systems are supplied by Alpine and Panasonic.
You don't have to post them. Anyone can look at the installation instructions via a PDF file by going to H and A Accessories web site ( www.handa-accessories.com), clicking on the S2000 link, then the 2004 link, then the electronics link. Scroll down until you find the XM radio option and you'll find a link to view the installation instructions.

You'll also find a set of installation instructions for the in trunk CD player and they show that the car is prewired for both the CD player and the XM radio option. The CD play comes with a "Y" harness that connects between the player and the car, and the other side goes to the XM radio. The nice part is that you don't have to pull the radio itself, or any interior trim to run the wiring harness between the trunk and the radio which, if I'm not mistake, was something that was required for the '00-'03 model cars. Makes things a lot easier.

Looking at the pictures of the Pioneer GEX-P900XM and -P910 XM on several websites, they don't connect with a simple 14-pin connector; instead, they look like they have a power-in connector and a separate data connector.

I've emailed the Blitzsafe tech guys to see if they have any plans for an interface unit between the stock Honda 14-pin connector (pre-wired in the car) and any aftermarket units.

It would sure be VERY nice is they did. The biggest problem I'd have with swapping the factory radio is loosing functionality in the dash controls.

Please let us know what they say.

Thanks for the tip, I'll go check that out.

Personally I think Sirius is a better way to go, so I am firting with getting one of those HU's installed and my biggest concern is not losing the dashboard functionality.

More info--

Blitzsafe said that they did not make an interface (stock '04 head unit to aftermarket XM receiver), but might "sometime in '04"...
