I'm 20 something, went to college but dropped out since there's really nothing more they could teach me. I like flashy, loud cars that just scream, "Look at me". The louder it is the better. And once I have them looking my way, I'll dazzle them with my huge picnic table rear wing and 3000 db thumper sound system. I really have no personality but the slammed car makes me "All that".
Girls love me because they think I'm cool and have lots of money. I don't tell them I saved for 5 years working in the back of Dairy Queen. When a really nice, cheap S2000 came along, I was a little short but my dad loaned me the rest of the money cause I promised I'd go bank and finish school. I told him I'm going to be a doctor one day. He wanted to buy me a Benz AMG but I said an S2000 will do.
I've already got my next mod planned. Carbon fiber everything baby! Means I'll have to flip a few more burgers but it's so worth it to look so cool. Mind you, I can't see past next Tuesday and there's this even taller wing with an "F1" sticker on the ends that ought to get me a few more girls. And really, anyone over the age of 35 has no business driving a car like this. You should be driving a Prius and saving my planet.
Oh, and yeah ............................... I AM all that!

Def. not serious lol

I hate to break it to you but spell check will not indicate that "pole" is spelled incorrectly because "pole" is a word- it is just not the correct word

The OP fixed the spelling so it is all good now

I hate to say it but in another year or two this will be another honda-tech. And why wouldn't it since all the guys from honda-tech are now coming to this site. The trash talking and fighting have gotten worse since the value of these cars dropped. With motos like "The louder the prouder" becoming common talk, the inevitable downfall is all too apparent.

- sorry just felt like ranting for a little. I always feared the civic crews would eventually move to the S2000, but I was hoping they could mature a little before doing so. That didn't happen.

No, that is not ranting. It is confirming my feelings, exactly. I have had the experience on this site of dealing with more than its share of high school dropouts, guys with room temperature IQ and large common sense deficiencies. How many of them spend their last dime on a $2000 accessory and a month later are trying to sell it for $1975 because they need the money to buy something else? But no one is going to pay the $1975. The S2000 is so exquisitely designed and manufactured, why does anyone need a sheet rock size rear spoiler? Or Stage 2 cams? Or to break the law and install test pipes, to jeopardize the health of others and their own children? Or lower the car so that in three months it needs a replacement oil pan or front bumper cover. Or put a hard top on a roadster? Why not just buy a something made with a hard top? (I am not referring to those owners who need a hard top for winter driving). How about the member who has a wrap around video showing children being shot. And the trash talking and bickering and...? Who needs it? Feedback is provided the monitors but nothing is done. Perhaps it is time to start our own S2K site--for ADULTS ONLY and proof of an IQ above 70 degrees F.

Honestly some of what you are saying is true, but some things are a little out of place. some people that put the hard top on like the feel of the S as much as everyone else, what is wrong with that? Testpipes... while I agree with what you say I do not agree with the way you are saying it. That last line drives me up the wall (you do know that IQ is not measured in Fahrenheit right? ) I think this was written quickly in an angry state of mind and does not adequately represent your composure.

"Honestly"? That begs to wonder of you have a tendency of making "dishonest" comments? Me, "angry"? No, not at all--not even angry at your comments. You get to have an opinion. Me, too. My "composure"? You know that? How you know that? I must say though that I would have to question one's composure who states that he has been driven "up a wall" (your words). My feet are still on the ground!

Not sure I understand why you can't state an opinion without attacking another person? It is ok to do that--but I takes a little more thought and a facility for composing a logical, productive selection of words.

UNLESS, of course, my previous statement touched a little too close to home with you. Perhaps if the shoe fits...? Or the thermostat has been set too high...

You have done a good job of confirming that which I stated above.

Thank you for your input.

I don't think he was talking bad about you?

Anywho, I am 20 years old but I feel I am a lot more mature than MOST 20 yr olds. I also disagree with a LOT of what you guys are saying. The whole ricer thing has absolutely nothing to do with age, you were complaining about mods people do to the S...most people mod their car because THEY want to. It's not really any of anyone elses business what someone does to their car. Wings=downforce. Lowering with coils=better handling. Hardtop=lots of reasons. Anyway, some of you just seem WAY too closed minded, as are lots of old people (no offense intended).

In closing, nobody forces you to come to this site and be bothered by the immature people. If you don't like the site, find a new one. I on the other hand will be here as long as I have my S. I still learn new information everyday and really like the site.

You took my post the wrong way, I was not attacking you, I was disagreeing with you. My comments were not supposed to make you angry, they were just my opinion. I even agreed with you at one point, I just disagreed with the fact that you were attacking the people that used testpipes, yes they cause pollution, but really? "Or to break the law and install test pipes, to jeopardize the health of others and their own children" one single testpipe is not even close to the amount of pollution as the creation of all these hybrid cars that are being made/bought/used.

If you want to see immature, go ahead and reread both of our posts, I Disagreed with you and made a joke, and you attack me multiple times calling me a ricer and stupid. you are working up a nice case against yourself right now sir.

I think this thread isn't going to get anywhere...
just guys going back and forth at each other...

I agree with lots of you but we will always always always find someone disagreeing because what is being said fits them perfectly or some other reasons...

it's kind of like youtube, have you guys noticed the rating below the video? well, it seems like there's always someone disliking the video. can't find one video with just "like"
