i just turned 20 and i have a 2003 suzuka blue. WOW what a car. it's like nothing i have ever driven. If you want it, get it. Just weigh out your pros and cons. The car is AMAZING! just be ready for 250 a month for insurance. I have had more fun driving slow in this car than i had driving as fast as i could in my 96 camarro

Don't bash on the young ones. I'm 17, had the car before I turned 16. No my parents are not paying for it. I pay for it all, payments, gas, insurance, mods, etc. I'm also doing the same thing for my 2002 Civic Si. I respect my cars and value them.
*Note:* There is an exception to every rule! That means that people that there are older men and women who trash their cars, and young guys(or gals) will treat there cars like I do.

Thanks Barry. Coming from you, it's even more of a compliment.

Dude, if you can afford it get the s. I had a sweet $30k car when I was 16 and I didn't deserve it, but it was great fun. Don't let anyone tell you you can't get it. If you can afford the car and the insurance go for it. In the end it's your choice. BTW I'm 30 now.

I say don't get the S2000, until you get more experience driving or go take some classes to improve your driving. Put the down payment on the RSX.

I think it would suck to wait until your 40-60+ years old to get a real nice car. I'm willing to bet most of these old farts as its been put, owned some kind of 32 Ford roadster back when they were 16 years of age, so I don't see why they are discouraging you from getting a S2k at the age of 19. If anyone tells you not to get something, that's more of a reason why you should get it, and I'm sure there's going to be some mud slinging this way after I post this.
