Default Alarm System - Wired Top???

With some of the S2K slashings Ive heard of (ie: Slicing a hole in the soft top). Does anyone here know if an alarm system can be wired around the top's sensitive area to trip the alarm when some low-life tries to cut through it?

I don't know about wiring it, but my proximity sensor detects when I sit a McDonald's bag on the soft top.

You can wire a proximity sensor to check for people close to your car. You can wire it into a separate input if your alarm has one, or you can "piggyback" it into the input for the shock sensor.
