Does anyone know where to get a plug that connects to the radio wiring harness? The wiring of the aftermarket radio to this plug seems to be where Pinky's mod makes for a more plug-and-play installation.

2x6spds,

Thanks for the info and nice job finding this adapter! I will check with a couple of Circuit City's nearby and see if it's possible to buy the unit directly from them. Otherwise I'm definitely in for a group buy!

I am certain that a non-top-secret S2K knowledge base will grow as other owners apply it to their S2Ks with individual head units, including where to find other harnesses, etc. The main thing is to have it available for those who would like to tinker with their vehicles.

Thanks again!

Pinky, are you saying that you couldn't get the SWI interface to work, or you couldn't get your own mods to work?

Sorry, I'm a little confused!

Cheers,

Im saying that one installer tried just what you guys are attempting to do and with all the supplied info from PAC still couldnt get it to work. It was then shipped off to me to to start from scratch and do my mod. Shipped back to him and he has been happy ever since!

Pinky, are you going to Ashville? I'm sure you could find some takers once they see how well your controls work.

I believe that's because you have always wanted to also include the radio in the GB (and the pricing on the radio and/or the mod seem a little high IMHO).
