Another victim of the torn top
what makes the top rip/wear, is it the frequent lowering and raising of the top? leaving the top down or leaving the top up? does anyone have any opinions as to which of these conditions might cause the most damage.
for the most part, i leave the top always down in the summer time(garaged) and always up in the winter time(also garaged).

i have an inch-long tear on my MY03. i just discovered it today; passenger side.
i bought some TEAR-AID for $11.00 shipped on eBay. i searched and have found some good results from it. i'm also going to inspect the soft top frame for the culprit and see if i can do anything about it. hopefully it's just a sharp edge that i just have to file down.
will post results after.

Got the car back yesterday, and it looks awesome. The convertible shop the dealer contracted out to did amazing work. Fitment is absolutely PERFECT. The top sits nice and tight against the windshield frame now.
They also sanded down the offending areas on the frame and repainted them -- can't even tell any work was done.
Major thumbs up and thanks to Continental Honda in Countryside, IL for being so good to me.
