Any good alternative to coilovers?

Yeah the shocks are softer -- using the lower perch lowers the car about 1/2". Keep in mind that changing springs takes you into a different class in SCCA.
i am running koni shocks and espelirs, with some very high stiffness settings in the front and rear (mainly so it doesn't rub too much) and i love the handling. feels much more stable and controlled than stock.
i don't know if this is true with s2000's, but Megan coilovers are manufactured from the same people that Apex-I use to make their coilovers, and they have the same specs, looks and practically the quality at a fraction of cost.
Swift springs are great, since I believe they're linear springs and it doesn't mess with the suspension geometry by lowering almost same on front and rear.

I have also heard good things about Swift springs, any one else have any first hand experience with them? I currently have a set of Tein S-techs, but not sure if I should go with the swift springs instead,
