The S is soooo good out of the box that modding can be a really dissapointment. I think the only problem the S2000 has is the soft springs/shocks. It can get a little wooly at high speeds.

I don't regret any mod that I've done so far. I have yet to install my koni's and 500 lb springs yet though.

my only complaint is that the spoon strut bar rubs on my prm intake, so every other week i'm sticking some foam shit in there to keep it from grinding down each other
Especially since it doesn't do anything.

I guess i'm used to mine, but I dont smell it at ALL. Love the lil angry bee noise it makes. Makes me wanna get an exhaust sometimes but this car is so freaken loud(wind noise) as is, so "i say no a no no"

I don't regret any of the mods I've done and many of them are shot down in this thread. It comes to personal preference and what you use them for. You should do your own research and decide for yourself rather than let others tell you what to do.

I regret buying a Carbon fiber OEM hood. It looked nice but was actually heavier than the aluminum one.

Also these general UHP tires i have right now. They don't have the best traction and they make alot of noise around turns. They were cheap, but i guess you get what you pay for.

A few mods that I would have done if I hadn't thought them through: Windshield tape removal (only looks good if you have a hardtop), Rick's S badges (pure cheese), 4.57 gears (from what I've read, they're way too noisy, and not a good noise), strut tower brace (doesn't do anything).

I'm glad I'm not the only one. I thought I was crazy or unable to install springs. My front has a 2.5 finger gap while the rear has less than 1. I even took them all apart to make sure I put it on right.
Although I do like the way they ride. I don't think they're bouncy.
