Anyone else dearly miss summertime?
I do miss driving the car in winter, but I like the fact that I only put about 5,000 kms on the car each year with it being stored, so I can likely own this car for 20 more years , lol.
I love drivig the car in spring and fall months, in the dead heat of summer the hardtop stays on. Being in the banana belt of Canada I can drive it from April 1st to November 15th, so it's not too bad. -10 degrees Celsius is about all we get around here, last year I did drive it on some sunny dry winter days, about twice a month right through winter.

I just put my S2000 in storage for the winter today.
The worst part is that for the last month, month and a half I battled CELs and resolving the issue...which ended up being four burnt valves and a complete valve job that kept the car in the same shop for over three weeks. The weather here in Kansas City has been spectacular this fall and it would have been ideal many days to drive the S2000 instead of my Civic.
Now, she is hibernating for the winter...75 miles away in my parents garage.
I could get snow tires, but KC drivers are awful in GOOD weather, throw in the winter conditions and it gets really bad. Not risking the car...

I drove my car for the last cruise of the season today.
It was 29 degrees when I left the house this morning (top up, I was going to work) and it's around 40 right now when I got home (top down!).
I miss the car already. There's something so sad and final about putting the blocks on the wheels, taking off the e-brake, and bringing the battery inside for winter.
Due to the reduced usage insurance I have, she will not be allowed out until at least March 1.....but I won't take her out til later if the weather is bad.
