Your logic is flawed because modifying cars decreases their value. It’s like dressing In fancy designer clothes to move around fancy (and yes the clothing designers are happy To see you walk the catwalk). BUT the person not screaming for attention, dressed normal, is usually the true Boss.
Value is way less important than enjoying the car (and life).
It is already an ostentatious sports car. If you want to blend in drive a Chevy Cruze or some terrible crossover.
BTW, it’s 2020, dress how you damn well please.

There are a very few cars that are close to perfect from the factory, the S2000 being one in my opinion. I like my S2000 just like my women. All original equipment, no surgical enhancements, no bumper stickers. The way God and Mr. Honda intended them to be from the start.

Same here! but it would have to be a 9K or 10K beater with like 90 on the dash.

30 years from now - If you were to uncover a stock s2000 in a barn somewhere(similar to this video), there would definitely be crazy comments about it. -Which means you don't have to do anything to it to have value. 1/2 of you spend enough $ on mods that you could get one to race.
