at normal driving, how high (how many bars) should a temp gauge usually display? I normal driving I have around 7 or 8 bars display, but this is before I found out my coolant was low, well below the min line and I just added some.

yes 7 or 8 is normal/optimal range.....

 

My 07 is between 7-8 and never gets higher. Ap1's are slightly different.

 

ap1s are way different, not just slightly, , i think 3 is as high as mine goes? I know thats when I can VTEC, and I never look at it after that, lol...

 

I don't think I've gotten 8 before, mine stays at 7 bars.

 

i never counted but it seems like its 1 or 2 bars below half...

 

8 is normal for the AP2.

MY06 jumps from 7 to 8 then 8 to 7. back and forth.
