I've been searching through the forum and havn't found a thread directly addressing this. Given the default engine, which generation of the S2k has more potential?

 

"Potential", thats a broad term, power portential, track potential, It could mean alot of things but im going to assume you mean power potential. The f20c(ap1) probably has more power potential since more parts are availible for it due to it's longer production.

True, but the F22 has the displacement advantage.

 

If you are not planning on changing displacement of either, you will get more power and torque across the board with the AP2-stock and with bolt-ons.

If you are wondering which one to buy, though, buy an 02-03 and use extra money for mods. That's way more fun than starting with the extra torque and power. Also . . .9k

 

you could almost buy an 02-03 and a used Comptech blower vs an 04-05. almost anyway.

you could definitely get an 00-01 with a blower cheaper than an 04-05, though.
