No problems with my top and the velcro is on both sides.

UPDATE. . .

I had the top looked at again by the Service Manager and he scheduled an appointment with a local upholstery/covertible shop. They will take a look and see if they can do a permanent fix under warranty as I really don't want to have the top replaced!

I'll keep you posted.

no bumps on the top yet, but i am having that damn auto window problem, and it pisses me off a bunch, but other than that perfecto..
and i'm gonna toss this guy in here cause i like him

The local upholstery shop looked at the top today and said that they are unable to repair it. It is manufactured using a heat seal from the factory that no repair could ever duplicate. Because it is under warranty, the shop advises to have it replaced. My poor top!
