In other words, HE wrecked the car AGAIN which caused some supposedly light damage to the rear right, so he's getting rid of it after all of that work. However, even HE bought the car with a rebuild title to begin with, so even if he was being honest we would still have no clue what happened to it in the past.

I'd say steer clear of this one.

is that suzuka blue or is it a completely different color? Usually what happens is if a car is really badly wrecked, then it is first of all fixed cheaply, second of all fixed with body kit parts, and then third they change the color because so many panels have to be painted anyways, they decide to have a different color. My guess is that it was a rollover, and someone bought it for cheap enough with hookups at a body shop and ended up fixing a car that shouldnt have been fixed in the first place.

I am the one who is selling the S2000, I want to know who the hell are you people here to judge me? Maybe I have understated something on ebay, which is my fault, I had done it in a short amount of time, which I really did not pay attention to. But before you saying shit behind some ones back, please make sure what you saying is what you mean. I put the car on ebay that said it is a rebuilt title, and this car has no problem now to drive. And I became a scam to you guys now, why? How do you tell something is bad, that you have not even seen yet? Have any of you come down here test drove it? Have any of you seen the car in person? NO, you have not. And then why the hell you talk a lot of shit about it? Why are you guys so nosy? I left my 1-800 number on the ebay for people to call. Did you guys actually call me for any information before you made decision to talk shit about it? No, you have not.

As I stated in the email. I bought this car from a used car dealership 2 month ago as a rebuilt title for almost 20000, and whatever happened to this car before, I do not care, because I test drove it, and I like it. Because I own an aftermarket performance shop here in Indiana, I put the body kit on the car and a cf hood to make the car look nice. Is this a part of the scam too? I, myself put

I dont think anyone was saying it was a scam as far as the driveability and quality of the car goes. No one said the car doesnt run good or perform up to specs. However, they were questioning how it got deemed with a "rebuilt" title if it only had minor rear damage. Most of the people were also wondering why it had an 00/01 top rather than an 02/03 top.

afsandywu, first off...welcome to the board. Second, I'm glad to see you decided to join us here. You were given this link to hopefully explain to us a few things. The S2000's convertable top is one thing.

You have to understand where we are coming from. People start auctions for fraudulant items and we are just here to help out. Now that you are here, you can shed some light on us.

Got anymore pix? It is a nice car, but I already have one so I wont be buying.

Oh yeah, these guys are great people, just protective. I'm sure you understand.

Ohhhhhhhh are we a little bit testy because it sounds like you are the one who is left holding the bag of poop (s2k w/rebuild title for $20,000) ouch! Now if you had spent another 16,000 you could have a brand new spanking 2004 like mine so let me play a song for you oh and the second verse is the same as the first!!!

OK guys.....lets go easy and let him explain on his car. I'd hate to see this thread get closed. Then we'll never find out.

the other reason why everyone is getting nosy is good. Ebay has become a notorious place for thieves and con-artists to make a living, so the people on here are just trying to protect someone if they see something fishy. This is what most of the people on s2ki.com do, they look out for each other.
