Bad hardtop install? - Need feedback

if you mean could you remove the soft top and motor, i believe you probably could. all the hard top mounts are different than the soft top.

Mine looks like that , too. A nice piece of heat-shrink tubing would have been a little better looking. Oh, well.

This is a "hack - job" install.
I did mine myself and I have no such "unfinished" look to any parts of the hard top or wiring harness.....

i opened the box from honda myself and took the hard top out. it had the tape on it. i don't believe it was a 'hack-job' install. if anything, honda made a modification and retrofitted some wiring causing them to deliver some 'hack-job' parts, but that is quite unlike honda.

I'm glad to hear that mine wasn't a unique case. Thanks jss2k for the feedback and the photos. Those were the same bolts I found lying on the passenger floor. But I could only find 1 gold and 1 black...? Like you said, the black tape is quite unlike a Honda job.
