It's bad for to take a dispute with a vendor public without making every effort to resolve it in private.

That's why they give us the "Ignore" button, I guess.

You should have worked this out w/ Jeff before bringing it here. For what it's worth, you were supposed to have your package on Friday don't have a chance to get this straightened out until Monday.

That being said and if your post is factual, you have a right to be upset.

I'm a shipper and if my customer wants it overnight, that means overnight. No one on this forum has a right to question that. It's your money.

If this had happened to any of the hardtop supporters on this forum, they would be upset too regardless of their outburst of support we see here.

I believe you are getting hammered for not taking this to Jeff before posting it here. Now, if you'd tried to resolve this with him and not gotten any help....that would be another matter and worth roasting him here.

I understand...and I'm not jumping all over you...just my opinion...I do a lot of shopping online and deal with this sort of thing, so I've learned my lessons....but you have to understand that it may have been out of his control.....I'm sure things will be resolved and I wish the best of luck...but next time please exhaust other avenues prior to calling someone out

As you worry about your overnight shipment there are thousands of Americans fighting for our freedom.

If every business person was as honest as Jeff we would be in good shape.

Get real.

Spa are you tracking the car is that why you need a hard top? Why would you get a hardtop for a convertible ,why not just a coupe then? Anyway just busting your chops.

These guys need to get this vendor's dlck out of their mouth's for all the praise they heap on him. I'm guessing this top wasn't a $100 part (I have no idea on price) but if he told you it was in stock and would ship that day and you paid a premium for it and then the vendor failed to ship as agreed and then did not have the courtesy to call you, than you have every right to slam him. Others who read this can then have a balanced point of view regarding the vendor. If you modified your schedule based on the belief that he would live up to his word you wasted your time as well as money, to me that would be billable when you negotiate for compensation. Money can't buy back your time of course , but should take the edge off somewhat

Funny how the mob jumped on you , but if it would have happened to any of them they would done the same. Other than his most "ardent supporters" see above comment.

Hope it works out for you. Hard top for a convertible, that still cracks me up . But then again I live in So Cal no need for a top, every days summer.
