Well, I own an '04 but I voted '03. It's the most up to date model in the US that still has the 2.0 engine. Don't get me wrong, I love my '04 and wouldn't trade it for anything. If it got totalled tomorrow, I'd probably get an '06 just for the Laguna blue color but beyond that, I never really got Honda's reasoning for changing the engine in just the North American markets.
Actually, I do understand, I just don't agree with their reasoning.

Interestingly, both our roadsters (Miata and S2000) have plastic rear windows, something that was an integral part of the traditional sports-car/roadster. It really doesn't bother me, because most of the cars I've owned have had plastic rear windows. Besides, who drives around in a roadster with the top up?

03, because all the bugs where worked out of the original, and it is still a more 'pure' or less refined sports car than the AP2.

I hope this is the only time this statement is ever made.
Unlike some, our RX300 has been problem free, and we treat the thing like it was really made for off road use. At times I have to inspect property that is remotely located and access is either logging or mining roads, and the RX300 actually does as well as any other four wheel drive, while being a heck of a lot less jarring. I almost bought an M-Class instead, but I was able to get a very clean used RX300 for less than half the price, and since I beat the crap out of the thing it seemed a shame to spend so much more for a Benz. I also get a kick out of pulling up in a Lexus when everyone else is arriving in Jeeps and Hummers, because the Lexus is so out of place.
LOL, last month we autocrossed the RX300.
