Default Are Black Chrome Emblems smaller than stock?

I just bought a set from member "Hoa" and he told me they were made for an s2000, but he decided to not use em. I tried test fitting them on my car, but they are smaller and the holes don't line up with the new clips unless I take out the white things. Is it suppose to be like this?

you would have to drill new holes in order for the front emblem to be attatched, the rear should go in perfect. I have the same ones, i didn't want to drill my bumper so i just put 3M tape and it works PERFECT. All you have to do is get a razor blade and cut the tabs off and cut small pieces of 3m double sided tape in back of the emblem try to hide as much as you can push it against the car hold it for a bit.. It's on their pretty strong and mine has been on about 5 months already.

You do not have to drill new holes!

I am going to guess that his car was an 00-01. Those badges are a little smaller than badges made for 02+ and the holes won't line up right in the front OR the back. You simply have to take off the pegs on the back of the badge and just use the adhesive tape to keep them on. It will look fine and the tape will hold, I had to do this myself. Just make sure you line up the badge straight

the pegs in teh back lined up after i took off the white clips, but i'm having a hard time taking off the front emblems. they just won't come off and theres not much room in the back of the bumper. seems like there is a washer clip holding it in place.

use fishing line and run it behind the emblem and then pull from both sides of the line toward you to pop it off.
