Default blindspot...

im not sure if everyone has this problem but when i have the soft top up... the blind spots really make me feel uneasy about switching lanes too often on the highway...

i was wondering if there's any solutions to this? maybe an addon mirror to the regular side mirror?

also. i was wondering how the blindspots are with hardtops. the OEM and the Mugen style hardtops are of course different so... can anyone share any info?

Yeah blind spots are a problem.
Hardtops don't really solve this problem because they don't add side windows. The OEM hardtop does have a larger back window however. So it may help on the right side more.

You can get those cheap $1-$2 circular convex mirrors to stick on.

You can also pay about $60-70 for Level or Spoon light blue tinted convex mirrors. (check group buy section)

Muz also sales a convex mirror aswell.

I never really had a problem with blind spots when changing lanes. Move the drivers side mirror further out and the blind spot is gone. Only blind spot is when backing out.

The first thing I do to eliminate blind spots is to know where evrery car is on the road. I don't know if anyone else does this, but I keep a subconcious record of every car around me. I change lanes often, so i'm constantly looking out my windows and into my mirrors, by doing this I always get an update on the surrounding cars.

Now when I want to change lanes, I just look in my mirrors, and if the car is there, then it's safe to change lanes. If the car isn't, then he's probably in my blind spot, then I lean forward and peek out the window. The hardest is when merging onto a parkway that has either a stop sign or a yield. Then I find myself really leaning over the steering wheel trying to get a glimpse out of my side window.

WTF people!!!!

If you used that little roller wheel on the mouse, you would see there are 3 threads EXACTLY the same as this on the FIRST page of S2000Talk. You dont even need to use the "search doesnt work" excuse for this one!
