Break In

Hmm... the owner's manual doesn't mention anything about varying the RPM or at least not staying constant too long. I stayed under 5.5k for the first 600miles, and also tried to vary the RPMs as much as possible. Luckily it didn't take long to break through the 600mi mark... I think it was day 4 of ownership.

Reading the owner's manual is mandatory for these cars, and the break-in stuff is the least of it.

For one thing, it'll help you avoid embarrassing yourself the first time you need gas.

For another, it'll tell you the appropriate way to deal with a flat tire if it's one of the rears.

And there are plenty more.
