Break In Period - The Tease!

point is to break the engine in progressively ... the last thing you want to do is get to 600 miles then vtec the f**k out of it.. keep it progressive and ease the revs up slowly over several hundred miles........ oh and sitting in your car doing fifty for 600 miles isnt going to help either ... it needs to get used to various revs in various gears ... dont forget your running in the whole transmission train as well as the engine

aye varry you're speeds, cruise controll is kind of a no no for break in periods.

It took to long to get there, but the wait was worth it. After owning 3 Vettes I thought I knew what driving was...then I test drove MY04 and fell in love.

I'm at 300 miles and it's killing me. I have vtec'd a few times without thinking...downshift to get around somebody, etc, but I can't wait till I can approach that readline without feeling guilty.

I have a 4 mile commute so 600 miles is gonna come slow.
