My family has been going to this dealership since they were Somerville Acura (a more accurate, all be it less prestigious, name). Everything at Bridgewater Acura is over inflated especially since they renovated a couple years ago. They're trying to be more than an Acura dealership. They keep any number of exotics on hand for sale. I've seen the sub 1000 mile Vipers and Corvettes they put on display. I'm not sure they even let you test drive those. I test drove my first s2000 at this dealership but they basically shooed me away for being a damn kid.

I'm sure they have a variety of resources for acquiring cars but I'd wager one of them is the Manheim auctions out of PA.

Their buyer doesn't let anybody else get a clean S at Manheim. They pay too much so their prices are higher. But for them its a matter of the inventory getting people in the door from all over the region.

This is 100% correct. I worked with their used car sales manager on a project and bought my car from him in '09. he's personally responsible for the cool stuff they have. He had an s2000 when they first came out, and had moved onto two nsx's, 1 being a Zanardi. Last I heard he'd moved onto a Ferrari. Down to earth guy who started in the wash bay, worked his way up, tuner guy, his whole model is to block out the other guys when it comes to anything remotely interesting.

I guess even Bridgewater Acura has their limits. I got my car through Manheim through other means.

Lot's of clean S2000s here that rarely see rain or humidity, and never snow or salt. There are just too many people who consider 25-30K chump change for a super clean S2000.
Cali sounds like that Hollister crap line of clothing.

I did not even consider a car from the midwest or especially NY area for environmental problems. (Although a car with 3K miles might be given a pass) The southwest is ideal for cars and their longevity. There is a reason aircraft boneyards are out here and not in Indiana.

I bought my CR at Bridgewater Acura.

I spoke with the manager while I was doing some paperwork, he told me they specifically hunt down S2000s and other enthusiast vehicles. He used to own (or maybe still has) an S2000 and told me about his NSX, so I imagine he knows what he's looking for.

And sadly, but not unexpectedly, they have no AP1s. I'm not surprised considering how hard it is to find clean ones. Makes me that much happier to have gotten my share of them while I could. And a better reason for me to never part with it.

And yes, those prices are ridiculous in a few cases (Yellow CR exempt), but I think that's why they have the "Make an offer" gimmick. I bet they'll come down a pretty penny in a cash-in-hand situation. Guaranteed that they have a large profit window/markup.

Same I bought my NFR AP2 there. Yes I overpaid, but they had so many on hand with low miles, it was like choosing a new car. I specifically went here because they had 2 in red. Almost identical. I almost did eenie meenie miney moe.
