Broken windshield already!
There are numerous threads on the subject. Yes, the car's aerodynamic design with the low dipping nose and hood combined with the much more vertical windshield make it more susceptible to pitting, cracks, breaks, etc. than most cars. I had to replace mine with only 700 miles on the car. I personally think it's very important that you pick a reliable shop to insure you don't end up with water problems, etc. I realize that windshield replacement is not rocket science but I'm still fussy. Also, I ensured that mine was replaced by a OEM Honda windshield. Since mine was an insurance job, I didn't sweat the $700 total price tag and my insurance did not go any.
Probably the only thing I would think of that could protect your front end from evil rocks,
is that ugly leather cover.
Make sure the person that is putting on your new windshield, does a perfect job,
because my friend had his replaced and when he hits speeds 35+, you start to hear
wind coming from the bottom corners of the windshield.
