xviper - ah. makes sense to me... i had forgotten you had mentioned a S/C in the past...

Ron - wow, good deal then... i paid almost the same price with virtually the same original sell date, but had to accept higher mileage (33k). i did purchase from a Honda dealer though, so i did get a bumper to bumper 7yr/100k warranty with it... (saying that makes me feel better since you got such a good deal... )

Can the extended warranty be purchased before the factory one expires? If so what is the cost.

Congrats on your purchase Ron and a big congrats on having an understanding and cooperative dealership. I feel it shouldn't have even been a question in their minds to cover it under warranty considering you only had it for one day. This is all great news! Welcome to the world of S2K addiction!

The new Mr2 is slow as hell and is NOT fun at all to drive compared the S. There are not in the same category.

No way! That' s too much.

Do a search, there have been a lot of info on this. There was even a GB or something.

I found at least one thread where someone got it for 1100 and the cost for dealer is posted at around 650.

https://www.s2ki.com/forums/showthread.php?...threadid=100310

There are lot more threads.

Good luck!

last weekend, when i was driving my S in new york, Flushing; saw a couple in their MRS enjoying their day, loud music playing. they're in their early 20's, and arrogant.
but when they saw my S, realized that they were not the only ones having a convertible, and their mouth were wide opened, and starring at my S.

good choice to pick the S!!!!!
