Have both, a 2001 yellow vette and a 2002 suzuka s2k. I have to say that i enjoy driving my s2k better than my vette. However, they are 2 different cars. If you are looking for practicality you have to go with the vette as an every day driver. If you are looking for that weekend end getaway the s2k would have to be the one. But the 350 hp on tap is always nice!

Red_s2k...OUCH! How did you break your leg? Did you use your third leg to clutch?

I traded a 2000 C5 coupe 6speed on a 2002 S2000. Reasons? I find the S2000 to be more fun and more agile than the Vette, even though it lacks the Chevy's power. I "feel" as much power as the C5, because it has a quicker shifter. The Honda is supposed to be hard to launch, but so is the Vette, because of an extremely high 1st gear. To me, the C5's best attribute was its ability to cruise all day at 100mph quietly and comfortably, although I have spent all day driving my S2000 in perfect comfort in those great seats. PS: many of the problems mentioned regarding the S seem to come from 1st year, my2000 owners--new model bugs? (My C5 did blow its engine at 1600 miles, but was fine for 13000mi after that.)
