I think it may be the moon's gravitational pull having an effect. Just a guess, though.

Hahaha, more likely to be a problem when you're driving on the beach.

I'm going with the coriolis effect. Car pulls to the left north of the equator and to the right south of the equator...

I have been drifting for a while now, And i have just got my hands on my S, and i notice no off balance at all. The car is evenly balanced on both side, with the back end lettign loose at similar force.

Only thing i would advice it taking a corner at a set speed with a set angle on the steering wheel, for example a half turn, repeat 5 or 6 time until you loose your bum, then repeat at the same steer angle from the opposite direction, assuming the road is flat and the angle is constant you should be able to get yoru answer from that.

To be honest its probbaly your " comfortable side " we all have them.

Just a suggestion

That's more or less what you do on a skid pad, only you use a circle of constant radius, and hold the circle while accelerating gently, until you reach (or exceed) the car's maximum grip. Using either an accelerometer or GPS based data logger always (without exception) shows a small difference in grip turning one way, as compared to turning the other way. Doesn't matter what car is involved, even single seat race cars will exhibit a small difference. Thing is, I don't believe it's enough for anyone to feel; A few hundredths of a G is easy to measure, but hard to feel.

I think the car simply feels a little different when you're on the inside of a corner as opposed to the outside. In one case the drivers seat is higher than the passengers seat, and in the other case, it's lower. In one case you're on the side of the car that moves up in roll, and in the other case you're on the side of the car that moves down in roll, so both the look and the feel is a little different. I think the tires are just as progressive one way or the other, and this can be pretty well illustrated by drifting figure 8's around a couple pylons. Car is equally progressive on either end of the eight.
