6spds, aren't you going to provide another random shot of your amazing Legend 6-speed in this topic as well? We're due for another. And how about that one shot of your black/black-with-the-headrests-and-aluminum-inserts-by-the-river action shot? Are you the one with the sheepskin seatbelt covers?

It's all good, guys. I'm through with this topic.

Yes, which exhaust system loses the least amount of power. The balance of tone agaist loss of performance has been the subject of threads before. Now there's a demonstration of the tension between aestheticists and funcionalists.

This was a fairly intelligent discussion until about an hour ago Bieg is entitled to his opinion and he's entitled to express it. So is everyone else. The question at hand is in the first post of this thread. If you think it's silly, shake your head, giggle and pass it by.

Whether or not this car becomes a classic is best left to the ages. I will mod my car, though I do aknowledge your oppinion, and partially agree with it. For now though I prefer to make mods to my car that make it more enjoyable to it's owner-ME
My .02 not that it matters in an issue as personal as this

For those on a budget: there is nothing wrong with the stock S2000. It is a wonderful car and one can be very content and happy with it as is from the showroom. Congrats on being able to afford it! If Bieg's post can help people feel great about their stock S2000 and save them money as well, so much the better.

Bieg,

You and I tend to differ in opinion, but I think you will agree that it has never been personal. However, I will take you to task now on your 'experiment'.

You are completely entitled to express your viewpoints and for any reason. Additionally, I do not agree with people flaming you in this thread as it seems vaguely hypocritical, given role reversals in past threads.

However, deliberately posting a thread which you hope will draw flames and incite a disturbance places you dangerously close to the behavior of a troll. I'd suggest that you curb the impulse to do this in the future.

UL,

You missed the point. I deliberately did NOT try to incite anything, rather I acknowledged many valid reasons someone would modify their cars and presented some valid reasons others would not want to. Let those newbies debating the issue make an informed decision I say. As soon as I posted this I got PMs saying that I should expect the shlt to hit the fan. I said in my reply to these PMs that it would be an interesting experiment to see how soon the Mod Squad gets personal. NOTHING I wrote in the post deserves THAT. Did I originally write this to provoke that sort of response? No I had hoped it would be a reasonable discourse as many of the replies were. Fact is it was a boring night at work and it was a good writing excercise. Did it prove another point entirely? Yes it did and I will show it for what it is because it IS a problem here.

So you tell me why a post like I did above should provoke such personal attacks on this board?
