Default Catalytic Converter

I'm thinking about removing the no catalytic converter, but then I don't know what to use to replace the gap between the pipes. If you have yours removed, please help me out. I want it to be a little bit louder. Don't we all?!

Thanks,

Jason

Thanks for the replies.

One more question. Which part of the exhaust system is the resonator?

Buy the Berk hi-flow cat. They have a group buy going on. It flows close to a test pipe but is still environmentally friendly!

the resonator is the mini muffler that's on the long pipe that goes to the catalytic converter

I got a megan test pipe and love it ($60). It have a res so it sounds nice. I have a CAI too and they seem to work well together. I used 2 foulers back to back and have had no CEL in over 1000 miles. The only thing I dislike about it is the smell. When I pull into my garage I have to leave the door open to let the smell of un-burnned fuel clear out.

I love how the S2000 cat can be unbolted. many other cars are welded on and not as easy to swap.

I am going to get some warrenty work done on the transmission soon so I will be putting my OEM cat back on. I just hope Honda doesn't try to tell me that my transmission issue is because the CAI (that would be lame of them).

Burk has a real nice high flow cat that might be a good idea (if legal in your state).

Does anyone have video clips of how this high-flow cat might sound like? I was able to find a lot of clips with test pipe, but none for high-flow cat.

The hi flow cat is pretty new on the scene, you might hit up berk to see if they have a sound byte. I think removing the cat just for sonic purposes is pretty silly, but to each their own.
